This is a song I wrote in 2013 as part of the second Bad Captain album. You can actually find the demo on badcaptain.bandcamp.com.
The second Bad Captain album was going to be split into two parts and this song was one of the last ones of the second part and was meant to transition from a really heavy, dark song, to the finale of the album (which was more positive and uplifting). ANYWAY!
If you listened to Bad Captain band in the day, you'll notice a resemblance to The Future Awaits towards the end of the song. That's intentional. Because this was going to be a Bad Captain song, it was meant to be sort of an encore to our most popular song. Moving on...
After releasing the Horsedog EP in March 2018, the band (Horsedog) fell apart pretty quickly. I once again found myself without a band and decided to take a break. I started a YouTube channel and made about 60 videos ranging from recording tips and advice for bands to gear reviews and guitar pedal demonstrations. It didn't take long before I missed recording and releasing new music, so I made myself a promise. I was going to record and release a track at least every two months. This is the first of those tracks. It's not exactly "new" music, but I'm sure it is to you! Enjoy!
